Review: Gambit #5

Gambit is one sneaky thief and it’s good to see him doing a very Leverage style break in, even if he’s kinda being forced into it. Kinda makes you think he’s having a little too much fun, what with being held at gun point and made to rob a tech company. That would sound about right, if Remy LeBeau was having a midlife crisis then he’s pretty much taken care of it now.

This is really the Gambit we need to see, we got through the slight-emo set up and now he’s dancing around, pushing the limits, being the dashing thief we all know and love.

What makes this even better is the introduction of Pete Wisdom, a character that is as charming and quick-witted in his own right… basically Remy if he had decided to be a good guy from the beginning rather than a thief. Pete’s introduction couldn’t have been better.

Oh yes folks… this is gonna be good…
